Maude Kerns Art Center

Columbia Gorge Discovery Center
Mt Hood & the Columbia River Gorge

The Columbia Gorge Discovery Center is the official interpretive center for the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area. The Center has approximately 8,500 historical objects in its collections. Native American baskets from throughout the region, household furnishings, and farm tools are strongly represented. The museum also houses a 17,200 square foot exhibit wing which tells the stories of the people of Wasco County past and present.

Lane County Historical Museum

Shelton-McMurphey-Johnson House
Willamette Valley

Built in 1888, the Shelton-McMurphey-Johnson House stands as a classic example of Queen Anne-style Victorian mansion of the late 19th century. The house is now owned by the city and administered by the non-profit Shelton-McMurphey-Johnson Associates. It is open for viewing at scheduled times and for special tours by appointment.

The interpretive center for the Cayuse, Umatilla and Walla Walla Tribes. The public is invited to learn the history and cultures of the Tribes at the Institute, located at the foot of the Blue Mountains near Pendleton, Oregon.
