Opening October 2022

Harvest market, corn maize, rides, petting zoo and pumkin patch. Celebrating the original Batman's 50th anniversary with a batman themed Maize. Annual Hood River Valley Harvest Fest
October 7-9, 2022
Hood River - The Gorge

This old-fashioned fall festival brings together more than 125 vendors offering local produce and food products, plus arts and crafts, wine, cider and beer tastings. Held along the scenic Hood River waterfront, this is the Columbia River Gorge’s biggest celebration of the region’s incredible fall bounty.

Kids will love the kids’ activity area, complete with bouncy houses, face painting and other activities.

Fazio Farms "Corn Maze in The City"
Opens October

"Corn Maze in The City" is 6.5 acres (over 283,000 square feet!) of confusing corn maze. The corn is double planted so you CANNOT see through the 20' (twenty feet) thick corn maze walls! It's freaky. Also food booths, 22' Bouncy Slide, tractor hay rides, pumpkin and gourd painting, mechanical swing, and a ferris wheel. Visit "HayLand" our covered kids facility for a parent's break, hay bale maze, and hay bale pyramid. There will also be pony rides and a petting zoo on the weekends.

Spirit of Halloweentown - St. Helens

St. Helens becomes Halloweentown every October! Visitors will feel like they too have traveled to this magical place as they walk down decorated streets, see townspeople in costume and participate in themed events. Tour the Houlton District and Olde Towne to see all the scarecrows on display and contribute to the festive atmosphere by visiting in costume! Activities include a parade, steam punk and Goth weekend, a haunted mansion and a pumpkin lighting

Halloween Fantasy Trail - Oregon City
Will reopen in 2023

Take a Halloween walk through a lighted, wooded, "Fantasy Trail", decorated with spooky sights and sounds. Walk through a 40 foot castle with Halloween scenes. Also, walk through a tunnel, maze, crooked house, suspension bridge and more.

West Coast Giant Pumpkin Regatta - Tualatin
October 15 & 16, 2022

In addition to the regatta races, entertainment includes a costume contest, face painting, pumpkin bowling, and pumpkin golf which will keep the laughs coming at this free, family-friendly event.

'Howloween' at the Zoo

Bring your costumed kids to Howloween for treats and safe fun!

The zoo provides a fun and safe setting for this Halloween tradition, where costumed kids learn about healthy habitats for wildlife in a fun scavenger hunt throughout the zoo. Treat bags are available at the end of the scavenger hunt for an additional fee of $3 per participant. In keeping with the zoo's mission, Howloween aims to be educational as well as fun, and all the treats come from companies that are committed to using deforestation-free palm oil. Learn more about palm oil and how you can help orangutans and elephants with your consumer choices.

Annual "Meet the Pioneers"
October 7-8, 2022
Jacksonville - Southern Oregon

Special evening walking tours where visitors will be greeted by the Spirits of Jacksonville's early pioneers and settlers. Meet these early "movers and shakers" up close and personal, and hear their interesting and fascinating stories of life in and around Jacksonville during the mid to late 1800's. Dress for fall weather and be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes. Tours will depart every 15 minutes and take approximately one hour to complete.

Trick or Treating in Grants Pass - Grants Pass

On Halloween of each year the merchants of downtown Grants Pass usually stay open a little bit longer than usual as they entertain trick-or-treaters, the youth of Josephine County Besides providing an especially safe trick-or-treating environment for the children of Grants Pass, the kids from surrounding rural areas are especially enthusiastic-glad to have anywhere to trick or treat at all

The Coast

A Tour to Die For - Lincoln City

Stories about the residents of the Cemetery are united with actors to literally bring the history of Lincoln City to life. Your tour guide is well versed in the legends and lore of our town. You’ll hear the Native American legend about the creature that lives in Devils Lake, as well as other mysterious occurrences along the way to the cemetery.

Tours run every 30 minutes

On Thursday October 31st the Witches of Depoe Bay will be out in force! Their goal? To scare up food and monetary donations to support the Depoe Bay Food Pantry! Come join the fun and let the Witches cast their spell upon you!
