Thousands of people are expected to celebrate the harvest season in downtown Bend with fine art, food, wine and microbrews, music, family fun and contests. Admission and parking is free.

Halloween Fantasy Trail - Oregon City
Open: Oct 1 - 30, 2009 (closed Oct 4)

Take a Halloween walk through a lighted, wooded, "Fantasy Trail", decorated with spooky sights and sounds. Walk through a 40 foot castle with Halloween scenes. Also, walk through a tunnel, maze, crooked house and suspension bridge. Refreshments will be available.

Most kids love trick-or-treating, and Oregon Zoo provides a fun and safe setting for this traditional Halloween activity. Trick-or-treaters will complete an intriguing scavenger hunt leading them to activity stations around the zoo. Goodie bags filled with candy and prizes will be given out for completed hunts at the zoo’s exit. Free with zoo admission.

Meet The Pioneers Cemetery Tours - Jacksonville

Guided walking tours of Jacksonville's Historic Cemetery with pioneer spirits in period dress telling their stories of travel to the west and settlement in Jacksonville and the Rogue Valley. Tours depart every 15 minutes from 4:30, the last tour departs at 7:30. Tours are approximately 1 hour long. New stories and characters every year!Tickets go on sale September 11, 2008
