The Facing Statehood exhibition is Mission Mill
Museum's contribution to the celebration of Oregon's
sesquicentennial.

the cultures, people and events that were part
of Oregon's early history, while you consider
the importance Oregonians have always placed on
the free exchange of ideas, many leading to social
and legislative innovations that have had an effect
on the entire nation.

Oregon: A Printed History

In this program, Robert Hamm will share primary
sources - newspapers, woodcuts, accurate and inaccurate
maps, and early photographs - from the Lewis and
Clark Expedition to the Lewis and Clark Exposition.
Space
at library programs is limited. Seating is available
on a first-come, first-served basis.

The
Great Oregon Tree Plant - Tillamook
April
4 - 5, 2009
The Tillamook Forest Center is playing a part
in Oregon's Sesquicentennial by hosting a tree
planting celebration during the weekend of April
4th and 5th. It is timed with Oregon Arbor Week
and the Tillamook Forest Center's third anniversary.
You are invited to join the largest reforestation
effort of its time.
