Amusement Parks & Attractions

Astoria Riverfront Trolley

Ride newly restored 'Old 300', built in 1913 by the American Car Company of St. Louis, Mo. The trolley runs for 3 miles along the Columbia River in Astoria, with the area's history and attractions given along the way. You can catch a ride anywhere on the riverfront between Basin and 36th streets. The round trip takes about 40 minutes.

Tillamook Forest Center

Center visitors can explore the past, present and future of the Tillamook State Forest through artifacts, personal stories, photos, film, exhibits, games, hands-on models, computer simulations, interpreter-led programs and other innovative media. Outdoors, the forest comes alive through salmon watching viewpoints, the bridge and lookout tower, and a network of interpretive trails.

Garibaldi Museum

The Garibaldi Museum is chartered to preserve the maritime heritage of the Pacific Northwest by collecting information concerning Captain Robert Gray and Captain Robert Gray's historical vessels, the Lady Washington and the Columbia Redivivia. The museum displays the 18th century sailing world by telling the story of Captain Robert Gray and the trade with native Americans of the Pacific Northwest.

Tillamook Air Museum

See one of America's finest collection of over 30 War Birds including our P-38 Lightning, F4U-Corsair, P51-Mustang, PBY Catalina and SBD Dauntless dive bomber. Climb into a jet simulator! Have lunch at our 40/50's Café. Enjoy shopping in their aviation gift shop. All this housed in a rare World War II Blimp Hangar...the largest wooden structure in the world!

Tillamook County Pioneer Museum
Northern Coast

Tillamook County’s rich history is preserved for all to enjoy at the Tillamook County Pioneer Museum. Beginning with a collection of 400 items when the museum opened in 1935, it has now grown to include 35,000 items plus an additional 10,000 photographs. The current collection ranges from prehistoric specimens to modern day items.

Performing Arts

The River Theater

The River was opened in 1998 to provide a home for the arts: theatrical, visual, and musical. It is housed in a Uniontown District vintage building which has been converted to a 93-seat Black Box theater. Their seasons include five main productions, live music events, traveling play companies, live radio shows, dance concerts, benefits for other non-profits in the community, workshops, poetry readings and much more!
