Wallowa Valley Festival of Arts

Allstate Festival of Balloons in Tigard
June 13-15, 2008
Tigard - Portland, Metro

The skies over Tigard are filled with rainbow-colored hot air balloons at this annual Allstate Festival of Balloons. Thousands of visitors come to watch the balloons take off, ride the ferris wheel at the carnival, munch on festival food, and enjoy the live music. The novelty and joy of seeing hot air balloons up close is a thrill for children and is another aspect of Tigard that makes it a unique and wonderful place to call home.

Britt Festival

Bach Festival

Annual 3900' Festival

Race Across Oregon

Starts in Portland

On July 22, 2006 the eighth annual Race Across Oregon begins in Portland. Competitors climb over 40,000 in their 535 mile campaign to the finish line at Mount Hood and Timberline Lodge approximately 30 – 48 hours later.

Divisions included in the race are: Male/Female Soloist; Tandem; 2 or 4 Person teams; and Corporate (8 person) teams.

Chief Joseph Days Rodeo

Five days of fast paced, exciting entertainment for the whole family. PRCA-sanctioned rodeos, Indian encampment, dance competition and a carnival turn Joseph into one big celebration! Chief Joseph Days has been voted one of the top small outdoor rodeos nationally, and it attracts major contenders to all of it's rodeo events, as well as top stock contractors, bullfighters, clowns, specialty acts, and has a total purse of more than $75,000.

Oregon Brewer's Festival

North America's largest gathering of independent brewers. This grassroots event has developed a reputation as being one of the finest craft beer festivals in the world. Seventy-two breweries offer handcrafted brews to 50,000 beer lovers during the four-day event. There is no judging at this event, rather, it is an opportunity for beer lovers to enjoy handcrafted products from some of the nation's finest breweries.

Rogue Valley Balloon Rally

Flashback "Cruz"

Open to all '74 and older classic cars. Event will include a Poker Run on Thursday, a Friday pre-cruz in at S&S Auto Parts (aka Baxter Auto Parts), Saturday Show 'n' Shine in Drake Park (on the grass), and a designated closed "cruz" in downtown Bend. S&S Auto Parts (Baxter Auto Parts), Sisters Auto Parts, along with Auto Value Stores, will sponsor the Friday night band. This year's band will be playing in Drake Park.

Umatilla County Fair

Held during the first full week of August.
